Day 62 Abstraction: A representation of our Spiritual Nature

8x10 Oil on Canvas
Abstract art scares people. But that is ok.
When you start peeling away at layers and expanding walls, the unknown becomes more confrontational and solidified, rather, a lot less like abstract. Emotions freely shifting and moving about without walls to contain them certainly can be daunting.

Why do we struggle with and fear abstract? Is it because we feel forced out into an area without a safety net?  Pushed away from comfort zones and traditional boundaries? Does expanding the walls and blurring the lines make it any less representational of our spiritual nature and in helping to find harmony within ones own soul?

I think not.
Best,
Valerie
